Scribe co-founder Adam Mariani on farming with sheep, reviving forgotten grapes, and why the wine industry's rough patch might be exactly what it needs.
Definitely that as well as the price! For people who live in town it’s definitely viewed as very bougie. Though I’m sure it would be difficult for them to be open to the public given what it would cost to staff / and how much the wine industry has been hit post Covid.
I can almost taste the sparkling rose now after reading your beautifully-descriptive piece. Thanks for sharing!
I really liked what you wrote about Local Leaf -- and they were so happy you wrote it based on your experience. I hope all is well with you!
Thank you and thanks for the shoutout. Your friend Todd was so nice, and I loved my tour there.
They're obviously great but as a Sonoma local I find it deeply hilarious to hear Scribe describe themselves as approachable
What makes them not approachable -- is it that they're no longer open to the public regularly?

yeah I'm sure. It's crazy how tough things are across hospitality right now. They do make some tasty wine though!
“There’s not much else in the world that smells or tastes as good as fermenting rosé.” Beautiful quote, beautiful tribute! 💘
Now all I want to do is smell fermenting rosé!
Me too! Then maybe dab a little on my neck and wrists, okayyy?!?
Eau-sé de rosé!
