The Cream City is worth your time — don't just watch it on Top Chef. Go.
The Tin Widow is another great bar; they have an extensive whiskey list.

Most of my haunts from Marquette days are closed (or condemned) but I discovered Oscars Pub on a hockey trip and have driven to Milwaukee a handful of times since, just to go there. Maybe my favorite burger ever and a wall full of solid taps.
I’ll have to check it out next time
